Our splendiferous life got started when I bummed a ride from Jason to get to our student ward's activity night at Vivian Park. On the way up, Jason played some Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I commented that I liked the music. Little did I know that music is one sure way to Jason's heart. At the park, Jason totally got into the capture the flag game we played. I was impressed with his advanced strategy, (which I have later come to be quite bored with--I can't even beat this guy in a game of Connect Four!) :) but what really impressed me was his reply to my comment about how beautiful the Provo/Orem area is. He said he'd love to raise his kids here. Well, I hadn't fallen in love with the mountains yet, so where he wanted to raise his kids was irrelevant to me. The kicker was that he wanted to raise kids! Could it be he was as baby hungry as I was? (Turns out he was not quite so baby hungry, but that's probably a good thing, as crazy baby hungry as I was.) Anyway, after that night the chase was on. Six short months later, Jason was mine. We've shared 3 and a half rockin' years together, but if I try to recount them all, we'll all miss out on what's going on right now, so I'll make a huge jump from marriage in 2004 to parenthood in 2007. See my next post for our birth story, or skip it, depending on your preferences... I don't think I got too graphic, but no promises. (I'm just gonna cut and paste the birth story I wrote for my birthing instructor.)
